Project Based Learning
In 2014, I travelled to San Diego to High Tech High for some career changing professional development on project based learning. I also have experience teaching at a school with a PBL focus. Project based learning is essentially a school environment concept. We, as educators, have to create a school culture that invokes students to be accountable for their learning. It also makes learning authentic.

School Climate
School climate is important to facilitate and encourage student learning. I think that school climate is created through relationships, rapport, good teaching, as well as the physical learning environment. In my experience this contribution of learning environment and school culture has been developed through participation in school events, coaching, and learning in my classroom.
